EA FC 26 Release Date

EA FC 26 Release Date, Leaks, and Latest Additions to the New Game

EA FC 26 Release Date

Although it is still early in the year, leaks regarding EA FC 26 have already started to surface around. We will take a closer look at what has been circulating around social media over these past weeks.

Expected Release Date

The expected release date for the new EAFC 26 is September 26, 2025. Normally, EA launches the game in the last Friday of September, with the date changing accordingly to the prior Friday of the month. Early access is usually available a week before the official release, so this year it should start on September 19.

We do not anticipate any delays in this year's launch, and the community holds very high expectations for the game. From FIFA 20 to  EA FC 25, all games were released on the last Friday of the week, except FIFA 21, which launched later on October 9 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Leaks and Rumours

In recent weeks, we've been hearing various leaks on EAFC 26. Some of them came from Reliable people who are credible in their field, Let’s explore what the FIFA community can expect in the next game.

New Icons and Heroes To Be Added In Game

In the latest leak, it has been said that more than 10 icons will be added into the next game. EA has spent a staggering amount of money to include these ICONs and Heroes, providing more options for players. Some of the rumored additions in EA FC 26 are Toni Kroos, Arjen Robben and Alex Morgan. Diego Maradona is also set to return after a two year absence, and Sergio Aguero is expected to be among the new Heroes included.

We anticipate these announcements to be made official later on next year, likely in August. Additionally, EA is expected to reveal the remaining ICONs and Heroes around the same time, to ensure everything is ready for the official launch at the end of September.

Updating the Gameplay

While we await confirmation, leakers suggested that the gameplay in EA FC26 may have significant changes to provide players with the best possible experience. This year, there were lots of complaints from the FIFA Community, suggesting that the gameplay is slow and influenced by scripting that determines match outcomes. In previous years, gamers were used to fast gameplay, using skills, and attacking in fast-paced scenarios. This time, you have to use the META tactics, such as long through balls, to break through defenses. I believe that such an update is necessary, and returning to the faster, more dynamic gameplay of previous years would be a game-changer for everyone.

Open World Game Mode

An Open World Game Mode is coming to EAFC 26. This has been confirmed by a reliable outlet on twitter and Instagram named Donk. According to his latest information, Players can use their own custom-made player. They can also interact with other FIFA players in the community and has been described as very similar to NBA Park. Details are limited at this stage, but we expect more information to be revealed throughout the year about this new game mode.

More Potential Changes or Additions

Although it is still early to predict, we can explore some features we expect to remain in the upcoming EAFC. The Rush game mode was a success in Ultimate Team, allowing players to earn rewards and strengthen their squads. We expect it to remain in EA FC26 due to its success, alongside the new features. Additional updates to Career Mode and Pro Clubs are also expected, as EA typically update game features every year, to improve the player's experience.

As for the tactics in Ultimate Team, we don't know whether EA will return to traditional tactics or stick with the new tactics mode. I believe they will stick with the new tactics mode to determine if they can sustain success beyond a single year. Another topic everyone is discussing is whether EA will reintroduce Belgium and Russia in the game. Belgium didn't renew their license for this year, which is why they are not in the game. Russia was removed for political reasons, so we need to wait until late 2025 to learn their faith for the upcoming EA FC.

As for the inclusion of female players in the game, we expect them to be featured for the third year in a row. It is now evident that they are effective in the game, with many players integrating them into their squads. Regarding soundtracks, EA consistently provide fresh tracks for a new game, often featuring some bangers. We can expect some great tunes in the next game.

I hope you're as excited about these new game modes as we are! Stay tuned, and we'll keep you updated with the latest developments throughout the year.
