When it comes to PC gaming, no one is more powerful than Steam. Thanks to their wide array of games, they’ve become the go-to place when it comes to purchasing new games, or even older ones.

But with such a large variety of games available, how much would it cost to fill your library with every single one on Steam? Thankfully, there is an easy way to check this.

Steam has over 65,000 games available for purchase. Some of these games are more expensive than others, which is why it could be a bit difficult to estimate how much exactly it would cost to pick up every single title available in the Steam library.

Thankfully, the website steam.seewang.me was created in 2017. The creator made a specific code which scans the entire Steam library for the value of each game. Through this API you can find out an accurate total for the cost of all games.

Unfortunately, it seems like this website stopped counting in January 2024, but the number is still impressive and likely hasn’t changed all too much since then.

At full price, buying every single game on Steam would cost:

$974,810.59

According to the data, during sales, buying all games on steam would cost:

$658,911.21

You can even see just how much the value has increased throughout the last 7-years thanks to a graphic on the website. In the graphic, you can see the original price compared to the price of sales, which is what the drops in the image show.

Check How Much Your Steam Account Is Worth

Not only is the entire Steam library worth a lot, but your own account also has a value thanks to all the games and in-game purchases you might have already made beforehand. But how much is all of that worth? Thankfully, there is a simple way to check this.

  1. Go to steamdb.info/calculator
  2. Copy and paste your URL profile link, Steam ID or friend code
  3. Click on "get disappointed in your life"

To be able to see this information, you’ll have to have your Steam profile visibility set to “public”. If you don’t do that, this trick won’t work, and you won’t be able to show off how much money your account is worth to your friends.

You can check a bunch of other interesting and fun stats on your account. You can see how much time you’ve spent playing games as well thanks to this tool. So, if you’re curious about your own personal Steam account, then make sure to head over to steamdb for more information.
