What to expect in Dual Destiny Season

In Season 17, Sinistea, a Ghost-type Pokémon from the Galar region, is the most common addition, with it's evolution, Polteageist, also set to be introduced.  Alongside the creatures, which we should be having more information about later on, the latest information suggests that its Phony will be costing the players 50 candies to evolve while the authentic form will cost a hefty 400 candy requirement.

Causal players can relax since these cosmetic are only applicable in the main series, and is likely to stay the same during transition to Pokémon GO.

Alongside the free bonuses in Pokémon Go, a monthly paid pass will also be available for the players to purchase. For those eagerly awaiting, Shadow Raids are returning in the Dual Destiny Season.

Shadow Regis will return, and this time it will feature their shiny forms for the first time, giving a good chance for players to find these legendary Pokémon’s as shiny shadows. For the competitive scene, however, this isn't good news, as the Shadow Regis are notoriously weaker than their standard variants.

New additions, such as Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon, are arriving soon to the game. In their latest updates, Niantic also confirmed that Machop and Dynamax Krabby are expected to arrive soon in Pokémon Go, with Gigantamax Lapras in the frame as well.

Also, in this season, Niantic are trying to urge players to start reusing the Dynamax Versions of Krabby and Machop, with Lapras also set to appear in Gigantamax for the first time.
