For all its gameplay missteps, Outlaws has a very enjoyable open world that focuses on a captivating part of the Star Wars universe: The criminal underworld. We’ve caught glimpses of this environment before, but we’ve never been able to indulge in it like this, and it’s a treat.

Of course, with that focus, the protagonist Kay isn’t going to be motivated by the same heroic values as the Rebels. Instead, she’s after Credits, and lots of them.

But while the bulk of the story concerns putting together a crew for the mother of all heists, it’s important to know that you can earn money incredibly easily in Star Wars Outlaws. And we’re not just talking about completing side missions. We’ve discovered a method to earn thousands of Credits in only a few minutes…

The Quickest Way To Earn Credits In Star Wars Outlaws

As fun as it may be to take on criminal contracts and hunt down legendary treasure, sometimes you just want quick cash. Here is the fastest method I've found to earning the money in Star Wars Outlaws:

  • Find a Canto Fathier Racing table, there is one in each city (usually in the bar). Here is the one on Kijimi that can be found in the north-west corner of the map:

  • Once you see the table, save the game (you can probably see where this is heading).
  • Now approach the table and interact to sit down, which will bring up a list of racers and their current condition. Pick anyone, it doesn’t matter who, but only bet the lowest amount possible, 5 Credits.
  • Watch the race and take a note of which color wins.

  • Now load your previous save, sit down at the Canto Fathier table again, and bet as much money as you can on the winner.
  • Profit.

Yes, it’s cheap to save scum a minigame like this, but you wanted to know the quickest way to earn Credits in the galaxy, not the noblest.

This trick also works for Sabacc, a card game that you can play in the game. But, of course, you can’t just place money on a winner, you actually need to win the game yourself. However, if you save before entering the game, you can keep loading until you win.

The benefit of doing this in Sabacc over Canto Fathier racing is that once you’ve gained access to “High Roller” tables, you can bet larger amounts of money. But given how long a game of Sabacc takes, compared to the Canto Fathier trick, we are still certain you will earn more per ten minutes with the latter.

And there you have it, you rogue, the quickest way to earn lots of Credits in Star Wars Outlaws. Enjoy spending your winnings!
