Here's my favorite way to find out if the Marvel Rivals servers are down. DownDetector is simply collecting reports from players. When there's a spike in server issue reports, you'll see it directly on their graph. Case solved.

They rarely post about server issues or downtimes on Twitter, but you'll quickly notice in the comment sections if there's an ongoing server outage. Players tend to get very vocal about that :)
Same as their Twitter. You'll find a bunch of posts from angry players on Reddit if the Marvel Rivals servers are down. Just sort by New and you'll see.
Discord
